RSS (Rich Site Summary) is a web feed format encouraged by Netscape, which has become the most widely accepted format of web feeds. These feeds help visitors know what has been recently added to their favorite website without the need to revisit it frequently.
RSS Xpress is the best tool that I personally find perfectly fitting into this job. RSS Xpress allows you to create categories for your RSS feeds' URLs and access even those that are password protected. This program has an outlook-like appearance that will show any unread news in bold, and has a nice preview panel that shows descriptions of given news feeds, should you become interested in some. You don't have to copy and paste any links, but simply click on a news feed and this program will display its full information to you in a new tab inside the main window.
One of the most interesting features that I have found is that upon its first launch, the program displays a dropdown menu with many languages to choose from, so that you can change its interface. Another nice exceptional feature is that it automatically searches for new feeds and once it finds any, it displays a nice pop-up notification window of the same style as MSN messenger.
